03/14/08 I bought my first bike when I was 18 in 1962. It was a BSA. I've been
riding for over 45 years. I now own a 2006 Harley-Davidson V-Rod. It's for sale.
As soon as I sell it, I plan to buy a 1969-70 Lightning or Thunderbolt. Are
those good years? What do you recommend? I'm not ready right now, but I hope I
will be real soon... Where can I find a reasonably-priced 1970 Lightning or
Thunderbolt in excellent condition? (not a "show bike") It must be dependable &
reliable. I'll ride it every day. I'm not a wealthy investor, I'm just an old
beezer lover. Do you know anybody who wants to trade in a really nice BSA for my
V-Rod? (that's the one with a Porsche engine) Thank you very much. I really
